Alarms
Commercial and Home Protection 24/7
Security systems are designed specifically for every site. We use all the main brands from reputable distributors and can suit any need with professional installation and commissioning.
Remote assistance is available on most new systems with the addition of an internet module. If faults develop they can be diagnosed remotely and in some cases fixed or updated. Anyone wanting to use an app for the alarm will need to update firmware from time to time. This can be done simply by giving us a call. This will usually also connect your system to an app for complete control from anywhere.
We can provide complete control of your system from a smart phone giving the user access to everything they need when they’re not home. Turning the alarm off and opening the garage door for a courier or tradesman. Integrating this feature with a camera that can be viewed remotely is an increasingly popular request.
If the alarm was to activate, viewing cameras can give the client a fast way of making better informed decisions on what action to take if an intruder is detected.
Solutions
We have temporary wireless solutions for building sites or flatting or renting situations where cables do not need to be run and can be relocated easily.
We can monitor nearly any alarm system. With copper lines being phased out, we offer a 3G/4G Solution.
For any high end or complicated scenario programming we offer Protege and Inner Range security systems. Because these system require technician certification, it ensures the end result is installed to a high standard. We have a one stop shop for multiple tenancies and users, and better yet you can manage it all from your smartphone from where ever you are.
Helpful Hints
Having an alarm installed is generally a fairly straightforward process. Here are some considerations to help you with your installation.
- Quality systems. You generally get what you pay for when it comes to technology especially when it comes to the sensors. While they may cost more on the initial installation they will save you a headache from false alarms and system lock-ups in the future.
- App control. Most alarms now have an app to control your alarm and receive notifications. Some do it better than others so talk to your technician about the options.
- Professional installer. There are plenty of cowboys out there. All security alarm installers are required to be licensed as security technicians and should be trained in the system they are installing.
- Certification. This is especially important if there is any electrical work involved. All electrical work needs to be certified including system upgrades. A Certificate of Compliance should be issued within 14 days of the work being completed by the person that did the work.
- Monitoring and response plans. For a high level of protection a professional monitoring center can be used to automate the responses depending on what signals are sent from your alarm.
- System maintenance. Your system will need periodic maintenance for firmware updates, battery replacements and smoke detector cleaning and testing.
