After leaving school at I studied for my electrical engineering certificate and became a Registered Electrician at the age of 22.

I did both commercial and domestic electrical and became all-rounded in general electrical tasks from wiring up industrial switchboards and houses to fixing appliances.

This gave me a good base trade for workmanship and problem solving and a can do attitude for getting the job done and done well.

I furthered my skill set by working for Christchurch’s leading security companies over the years where I have practiced electronic security at a very high level on a daily basis over the last 10 years and I can deliver this knowledge and quality to my customers.

I have constantly trained in the industries preferred commercial grade security systems in access control, alarms and camera systems. Inner Range Concept, Bosch, Paradox and Protégé mainly to name a few.

I have worked in prisons, banks and multiple commercial venues with high level security as well as private home alarms and everything in between. I have worked internationally in banks doing access control and camera systems at the highest level.

After witnessing some fantastic developments within the industry over the years I am passionate about bringing the latest and greatest technologies in an uncomplicated easy to use fashion.

Balloch Security was founded in the interest of looking after our clients by delivering professional security based solutions. All of our products have been personally tested and proven before they are offered to our customers. Technology is a moving goal post at the best of times and training specifically with the products we offer gives us full confidence in our delivery every time.

Electronic security has never just been my job, it has been my passion for many years. It is the thing I do best and I bring this enthusiasm and expertise as the driving force behind Balloch Security.
